Information You Submit
Search Inputs
If you enter a name or birth date into a search widget, the query goes to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider returns its own results under its own terms. The site does not keep a copy or log of the search terms on its servers.
Messages to the Operator
An email sent to the site operator is retained so a reply can be made. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure. This site does not provide access to any Val Verde County warrant database.
Technical Visit Details
When a page loads, the server may record technical facts about the visit. These details help operate the service and understand traffic.
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- IP address assigned to the device
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Referring website, when available
- Date and time of each page view
Cookies and Audience Metrics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. The site uses cookies and analytics services to group traffic information, such as page popularity and where visitors leave. Browser settings can block cookies, though some site features may then work differently.
How Submitted Details Are Used
Information described above may be used to keep the pages available, route search requests to a provider, find and repair technical problems, see which materials are useful, and show advertising that may match visitor interests. Aggregated traffic reports help measure performance. This policy does not mean the site has access to an official court or sheriff system.
- Maintain page speed and operation
- Send a search query to the selected provider
- Review site traffic and page use
- Diagnose errors and service interruptions
- Display relevant advertising
No Warrant Database Is Kept
Val Verde County Warrant Records does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant files. The site offers general information about how to contact the county sheriff, local courts, the District Clerk, Del Rio Municipal Court, or a state program. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or personal records about other people.
The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Official court and law-enforcement systems remain under the control of their respective public offices.
Outside Search Providers
Search widgets are run by third-party companies. Information entered into a widget is handled under that provider's privacy notice, not this policy. The provider sets its own retention and sharing rules, and the site operator does not control those practices. Review the provider's terms before submitting a query.
Government and Other Links
Links lead to Val Verde County, Del Rio, court, state, legal-aid, and third-party service pages. Once a link opens another site, that operator's privacy policy applies. Read it before entering personal information.
Some advertising providers may track activity across different websites to select ads. That activity takes place on the providers' systems rather than through this site's own records.
Who May Receive Information
The operator does not sell visitor data. In some situations, information may be received by:
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic
- Search partners processing a widget query
- Advertising networks placing or selecting ads
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
Steps to Protect Visitor Data
Standard security steps are used to protect information collected through the site. No internet service can promise perfect security. The operator works to reduce risk, but cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Children's Information
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor has sent information, the operator will remove it after learning about the submission.
Requests About Personal Data
Depending on the applicable law, visitors may ask for information the operator holds, request correction of an error, ask for deletion, or opt out of certain data uses. Contact the operator through an available privacy contact channel for such a request.
For records kept by Val Verde County or the City of Del Rio, the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552, applies to many government records. It does not govern private-site data. Court records may follow judicial rules and other laws rather than a general public-information request.
The official Texas Public Information Act explains access to government-held information.
Policy Changes and Date
This privacy statement may be revised. When that happens, the current wording and effective date will appear here. Review it again if you want to know how visitor information is handled.
Effective date: September 23, 2026
